Hey everyone!
Here's some of my favorite products, a mix of drugstore and high-end cosmetics!
1. Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse. Mine is in "Nude Beige".
I love this foundation because the finish is super-natural looking, both in pictures and real life. Since it's so light, it's easy to build but doesn't wind up looking heavy. Love it!
2. E.L.F. Mineral Blemish Powder.
I love this powder because not only does it help to put the finishing touch on concealing a breakout, but it contains sulfur and tea tree oil, both of which are natural acne remedies, so it actually helps to clear up the zit! It's translucent too, so it should work on every skin tone. Though it's a little bit pricy for ELF products at $6 (I think), it's still a bargain for what it does!
3. MAC Cream Color Base in "Shell"

Purple Fairy Eyes
Hello everyone! Here is a beautiful, sparkly purple eyeshadow look! It takes more steps, but the payoff is worth it.
Here's Kidest, my model once again
Step 1: I prepped her eye area using ELF eyeshadow primer. This step is necessary because I will be layering many colors and want the look to last without creasing or touch-ups.
Step 2. using ELF shimmering facial liquid in "spotlight", I covered her entire eyelid in white, until it was opaque.

Fun Eyeshadow Pictorial - PINK!
Hey everyone!
Here's how I do one of my favorite going-out looks, sexy hot pink eyeshadow! I find it's very flattering on every eye color!
1. Prep the face. I used smashbox photofinish primer.
2. Foundation! I mix two shades of L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Makeup (nude beige W3 and light ivory W2) on the back of my hand using the ELF foundation brush. Using crosshatching motions starting at the forehead, I blend the makeup all over my face to achieve even, natural coverage that perfects the skin while looking light, fresh, and airbrushed.

$5 Leopard Nails!!
Hey everyone,
Since Sally Hanson's nail stickers hit drugstores, I've noticed a major surge in leopard print nails around me!
So, here's how I do my own leopard print nails, for about half the price of those stickers!
1. Base Color. I'm using "blush" by ELF, which costs a whooping $1 online or at select Targets

When Life Gives Me Lemons...
Ahh lemons. They make for tasty desserts and funny videos of babies on youtube. They also make a great face cleanser!
First, take some lemon juice, either fresh-squeezed or from a bottle. Put a squirt onto a cotton ball or pad.
Next, take a tiny pinch of sugar (I like to use plain ol' white granulated) and put that on top of the cotton ball.
Now, rub the mixture over your face! You may feel it tingling in areas like the crevices around your nose, or anywhere else the pores are especially large. This is a good thing!! Its just the acids in the lemons, similar to the ones that big expensive facial cream companies use, doing their job!
And the sugar exfoliates. Hint: I've tried this using Sugar in the Raw, and I don't recommend it! I found that the larger granules made for too harsh of a scrub, and I already have sensitive skin.
When you're done rubbing, simply rinse your face with lukewarm warter and apply some moisturizer. Voila! A soft, clean, fabulous face using items already in your kitchen!
Bonus: If you get a little on your lips, it tastes like lemonade! Yum!

My Makeup Routine
Here's my beauty routine!
Review: Philosophy The Supernatural Lit From Within Cream Blush
Hi Guys,
Let me start off by saying: I adorrrrrre this blush. Oh my goodness. It was given to me as a gift by a family friend, and when I first saw it I honestly thought it was going to make me look like a clown. The shade is "look on the bright side", a bubblegum pink. When applied, however, it comes out sheer and natural.
The packaging is deceiving: you really do get a lot of product in here, as well as a pretty big mirror for on-the-go touch ups, which is always nice! It's creamy without being gooey or oily. It gives me just enough of a "pinched-cheeks" flush to look natural but not in a "I-just-ran-five-miles" like I've found with other very pigmented cream blushes. It's gorgeous and natural, and blends well both with foundation or just bare skin, with a little face primer on there. I find it lasts a few hours, probably around four, before I start thinking about a little touch up. However, when I apply a pink powder blush on top, it lasts even longer than that, which is more than enough for my needs: being a student, I can reapply between classes and such.

Review: Pantene Restore Beautiful Lengths Smoothing Balm
Hi Guys,
I've been using this smoothing balm for about two months now. I've been growing my hair out for the past year and a half, which is new for me, and I'm desperate to fix the mess I've made of my hair with my obsession with heat styling.
The smell is fantastic. To me, it smells clean, fresh, and shampoo-y in a not-overly-shampoo-y kind of way, if that makes any sense. The company claims it helps prevent breakage so that hair can grow longer. To this, all I can say is, ehh. My hair definitely feels smoother on days that I put it in, but all in all, it hasn't really repaired any of the damage done. Considering it has the word 'restore' in the title, I was hoping for a little bit more.
What do you think? Has anyone out there tried this and loved it or absolutely hated it? Let me know :)
