Today, I did a beautiful golden-purple eye look on my best friend. Here' s a pictorial to show you what I did!
1. Prime the face. She was already wearing concealer, foundation, and some brown eyeliner.
2. I put ELF eyeshadow primer all over her eye area, including the eyeliner she was wearing.
3. I applied ELF shimmering all over liquid in "spotlight" to the inner corner of her eyes and tear duct area.
4. Using an eggplant-purple kohl eyeliner, I tightlined her eyes, smudging it in extra tightly on the upper lashline.
5. Next I applied a light, shimmery gold from my Lancome palette starting from the edge of the white, to the ending point of her eyelid using a flat brush.
6. Using a dome shaped blending brush and a super-metallic gold eyeshadow from Sephora, I brushed the color into the crease of her eye and along the outer V, as well as along the lashline about 3/4 of the way moving inward
7. Afterwards, I applied a more yellow-gold color from one of my ELF quads along her brow bone using a sponge applicator, to set off the vibrant golds.
8. Using my ELF gel eyeliner in black and my ELF angled eyeliner brush, I applied a thin line to her upper lashline, thickening it towards the end and then flicking upwards to create a cat eye. I also traced just the very outside of her lower eye's lashline with any remaining product.
To finish off the look, I did a variation on the Dutch Braided Bun
And of course, an eclectic leopard nail!
Bellisima!
