Fun Eyeshadow Pictorial - PINK!

Hey everyone!

Here's how I do one of my favorite going-out looks, sexy hot pink eyeshadow! I find it's very flattering on every eye color!

1. Prep the face. I used smashbox photofinish primer.

2. Foundation! I mix two shades of L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable Makeup (nude beige W3 and light ivory W2) on the back of my hand using the ELF foundation brush. Using crosshatching motions starting at the forehead, I blend the makeup all over my face to achieve even, natural coverage that perfects the skin while looking light, fresh, and airbrushed.

3. Conceal, conceal, conceal! I used Benefit Erase Paste in medium on a breakout, and Sephora Buildable Coverage concealer under the eyes, using a lip brush and my fingers.

4. Prime time! I used ELF eyelid primer from the lashline to my brow bone, and Sally Hansen 24 hour lip treatment. That way, these have a time to set/absorb while you finish the face!

5. The cheeeks! For this look, since the emphasis is on the eyes, I like to keep my cheeks looking as natural looking as possible, not overly flushed. I used Hard Candy's Hide and Glow Cheek stick in Hot Date, only using the light side on the apples of my cheeks, and then lightly depositing that color by blending up towards the temples using my fingers.

6. To start the eyes! I used a light pink color from my Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow palette in Winter Berries. I applied this starting on the inner corners, and working my way across the entire lid to the brow bone. (Note: If you don't have this color or one like it in a cream formula, I suggest the pink that comes in the "sugar cookie" cream shadow from ELF, I think the one I'm using is limited edition : / )

7. Using ELF's brightening eye color quad in Glam, I'm using the light pink- not the one with gold flecks - to go over the cream I just put on in order to lock it in place. I'm using a flat brush from Claire's.

8. Now, using a Barelle kohl eyeliner in charcoal, I'm lining my upper and lower waterlines. I think grey works best with this look because it won't distract from the pink the way that black can, but it still makes the eyes look sexy and defined, just not as obviously.

9. The color shock! I'm using ELF's brightening eye color quad in Glam - and only the brightest pink color. Using the same flat brush, I applied this in a sideways V or, ( >) shape on the outer part of my eye. Then, using a Tarina Tarintino blending brush, I flooded that color inwards from the (>) shape to give it dimension.

10. Now using a rose gold color, I loooove Milani's Illusion, I will highlight the inner portion of my eyes and the brow bone using a flat brush. (this one is from Forever 21)

11. Using Prestige Liquid Liner in Legend, a warm gold, I traced my upper lashline very closely and applied mascara (Almay one coat dial up). You could also use black eyeliner, I just like the way the gold pops and sets off the whole look!

Hope you enjoyed this pictorial!
